This weekend I looked at dozens, upon dozens of houses.
And we came across this snowman blob with flamingos perched on top. And I feel exactly like this snowman- sick of winter and sinking in to a blob waiting for spring weather!
We went to one open house which was Pete's favorite of our saved homes and it turned out to be not what we were expecting which was fine by me since I hated the house. Most of the weekend was spent doing drive bys of all the other houses we are considering touring. That way we could rule out houses that are on busy streets or not in very good neighborhoods, etc. It was many hours of car time and caffeine! This week we are going to tour the ones that still are on our list..but we're learning that houses are going pretty quickly which is nerve wracking!
This weekend I saw the new Oz movie.
I actually don't really love the original Wizard of Oz movie- all the weird obstacles just frustrated me. So I was not really expecting to think one way or the other with this one, but I actually really liked it! I thought it was going to be a darker version of the movie, but it was a completely different story and it was a lighter, cuter movie.
This Weekend I got concert tickets for the girls & I to see Bruno Mars this summer. SO pumped. I love him and I think he will be amazing live!
This weekend I played bar bingo!
I wish more places in the cities offered this on weekends because Wild Bill's gets really busy and you have to get there early to get a table. It will be even more fun when it's nice enough to sit outside on the patio. It might be the old lady in me, but there's nothing like spending an afternoon sitting and drinking and dobbing.

This weekend I saw JT kill it on SNL.
I loved it. The only thing JT has ever done wrong in my book is marry that 7th heaven
girl.
But honestly I think he always does an amazing job on SNL.
aaaand that was it. I did a little laundry, a little grocery shoppin, and a little baby Jayden snuggling. It was a good weekend we gained unexpectedly since we thought we were going to be in DC.

I am glad to hear your review on Oz. I really want to see it! I love Bruno Mars right now! He is so good and I would love to see him in concert. So jealous. So I totally forgot to DVR SNL and I am SO SO SO mad. Ugh! I really wanted to watch it. I'll have to wait for the repeat.

Ugh, I'm with that snowman too. Over this winter business. Have fun with your house tours! I can't wait till we can do that! And I love me some bar bingo too!

ReplyDeleteMan, now I'm mad that I fell asleep for the JT thing. I've heard so many awesome things. Sigh. Oh well.
I don't like the original wizard of oz either, so hopefully I might like this one.

ReplyDeleteBruno Mars!? Jealous! We really liked Oz too. I don't keep up with movies and trailers and all that so I didn't exactly know what I was getting myself into. Luckily it worked out though! Good luck with the house hunting!

I can't believe y'all have that much snow!! I like snow for about a week (and it has to be during Christmas) and then I'm sick of it. Haha

ReplyDeleteOh girl, I could not handle still being in so much snow at this time of year! I mean I know I'm in Florida, so we have completely different time frames, but sheesh! I would die... Sounds like a fun weekend though, with the movie and bingo and house-hunting. Glad it was good!

ReplyDeleteLooking for a home is SO frustrating, and there can be a lot of pressure under the words, "seller's market", trust me, I've been there. When you find the right house, you will KNOW it. I always thought people were crazy who told me that, but really, that's how it was for us. We found "the one". Which sounds a lot more epic and romantic than home buying...

House hunting sucks. :( Hope you guys find something quickly! And I'm glad to hear that review of Oz. I hated the original (it terrified me as a child), but I've been kind of intrigued about this one.

ReplyDeleteI saw Oz, too. I thought it was pretty good. I think I was expecting something more along the lines of Wicked so I was a tad disappointed. Definitely a good movie though. Good luck with the house hunting!
