It's a Friday Post.

As my good friend Lo recently pointed out, there are 87,000 link ups on Fridays.  And they're all pretty similar--highlights and lowlights of your week.  So in honor of Lo who did a post titled "Gold and Sh**" last week, I'm doing the same post every one else is doing today and linking up in my heart with all of you everywhere.

the Gold/Peaks/Happies/High Fives/Sunshines

It's march. I like that.
I wear spring colors and I refuse to wear my coat ever again.

I got some baby nephew snuggles with Jayden this week.  Always puts me in a good mood.

Pete & I did some drive bys on houses to see which ones we want to tour.  Afterwards we overindulged in dinner, drinks, and dessert at Houlihan's.

The last few days have been full of sunshine! I'm so excited for daylight savings this weekend so that it will be even brighter in the mornings.  It makes getting up early so much easier!

My trip to DC this week was canceled!  There was a "snow storm" on Wednesday morning when we were supposed to leave and all flights in/out of DC were canceled.  I was going there for a work conference on building a cancer survivorship program and Pete was coming with to make a weekend out of it.  Pete's bff lives out there and told us all they got was rain.
Super bummed.

My favorite house that we did a drive by of last night, has an offer on it already today.  House buying is just like e-bay.  Knowing somebody else wants it just makes me want it even more! This whole process makes me so anxious!

I am failing to go to the gym.  I would like to go every day or most days.  But then something comes up and I get busy or lazy or both.  And I'm also just not super happy with La Fitness and I'm stuck with them.  I didn't know how good I had it at Lifetime.  And it's an excuse, I know.  I'm not happy with myself.  I can't wait for better weather so I can play outside!

Oh yeah, we are supposed to have some sort of sleety/snow mix tonight and tomorrow. Blek.

How was your week?

  2. I'm with you on the gym biz. I'm at Lifetime right now but Anytime is literally next door to my new apartment. What's a girl to do? Also, I'm lazy and don't want to go at all. Sucks your DC trip was cancelled - hope you guys can still do something fun together!

  6. That "snow storm" we were supposed to get on Wednesday in the northeast came today. For about 3 hours, and it's already melted. LAME! Sorry your trip got cancelled. But on a good note, you rock those spring colors!

I know that I will always have an excuse that I'm too busy, so I will definitely need some tough love! I'm sorry your DC trip was cancelled-I was really looking forward to hearing all about it!
