this weekend I got a nice workout with my bestie Britt on Saturday morning. I almost made up an excuse not to go but then I just made myself do it. Britt & I always talk ourselves out of going and we ended up getting a solid hour of cardio in.
What's a good motivator you may ask? How about have a young muscley trainer guy measure and weigh you and tell you your body fat is at an embarrassing percentage. That helped get me out of bed the next morning.
this weekend I played Bingo at Wild Bill's in Apple Valley. We love going because the atmosphere is fun and the food is YUM. It's nicer in the summer because they have an outdoor patio, otherwise it's almost always too full on Saturday afternoons during the winter to even get a table. Oh, and none of us won. Unless you count winning as spending an afternoon with your bestest friends :) #cheesy
this weekend I caught a couple episodes of Boy Meets World and remembered why I love that show so much still. It was one where Topanga spent Christmas with the Matthews' and her traditions clashed with theirs, which I now can relate to after having a few Ortman holidays under my belt.
They also played the one of the senior ski trip with that homewrecker Lauren.
I have such high hopes for Girl Meets World!!
this weekend we really cleaned this place and it felt so nice. I love right after a deep clean when everything is neat and the rugs are all fluffy. It's a nice way to start the week.
this weekend I did not get as caught up on emails and blog reading as I would have liked. I try to get a handful done at a time, but life is busy! Sorry friends!
this weekend I did not watch the Golden Globes. I caught some of the red carpet but then I was busy snuggling with my nephew Jayden and having some family time. I was so out of the twitter-loop. Did I miss anything good?

Yay for going on a long run! My best friend does the same thing to me! It's always easier to work out when you have a buddy! I love a house after a good deep clean too! The smells and the feeling of something accomplished! It also doesn't take you long to clean up after a deep clean! Looks like you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy husband LOVES Boy Meets World. After we were married, he set the DVR to record every. single. episode. So I've seen them all...multiple times! I mean, I'm a fan and all, but he's borderline obsessed. Haha. ;) We also didn't watch the Golden Globes, but after everyone was blowing up my twitter feed about it, I kinda wish I would have!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Boy Meets World! It's on ABC Family in the mornings, so I'm able to catch a little bit while I'm getting ready for work. I'm very excited for Girl Meets World....I really hope they don't botch it! ;-)

DeleteAnd I totally know that clean house feeling. I usually clean and then leave for a good couple hours so that it can stay that way for awhile, because it usually doesn't last long in my house. haha
I recorded the Golden Globes then only watched the parts I wanted to (Bradley Cooper) then via twitter I heard about Jodie Foster's speech so I watched that. Quite moving and it said a lot in powerful way.

ReplyDeleteApparently I missed a lot this weekend too between Miss America and the Globes. Psh, I ain't got time fo that. Just kidding, I'm just lazy and not that into award shows. I was expcting some more blogger recaps though, that's about as far as I'll get. haha.
I have such high hopes for the new show too--but I just don't know if it can equal my love for Boy Meets World! I LOVE when I catch reruns on tv. :)
