This Weekend, I....

Grab a button and write a weekend recap post with the heading This Weekend I....
Link up your post here or over with Sar :)

This weekend I had another (final) family Christmas.  Pete's brother and his girlfriend came in to town from Chicago so we got to exchange gifts with them after not being able to see them over actual Christmas time.
Andy wrapped something in these adorable Santa puppies.  (Sort of reminds of "puppies dressed cats! puppies dressed as cats!"--google it, you won't regret it.)

This weekend I had a little brunch at granite city (bottomless mimosas!) with these lovely ladies-

me & snarky miss Kelly/ Kelly B., J.D.

see-bottomless mimosas.  We played mimosa roulette so I got to try many different mimosa concoctions which were dangerous  delicious.
I had no idea Granite City had Sunday brunch- it was yummy and the company was even yummier ;)

This weekend I had a lot of family time and baby holding time.  It is such a stress reliever to hold a sweet, sleepy baby in your arms.
my sis & baby J-dub

this weekend I planned a trip to DC in March (partially for a conference) and a trip to Vegas for Katy's bachelorette party.  Katy is getting married in August so we have a lot to look forward to this year!  However....since nothing is officially booked yet, I started calling some vendors for her :)

this weekend I was shown this little gem by my sister-

and we promptly listened to the remix and responded everything the rest of the night with, "ain't nobody got time for that!"

How was your weekend?

  1. Haha I love that Sweet Brown video. I always say that to my kids when they are being obnoxious. The trips sound exciting!

  3. Hahaha! "Ain't nobody got time for that!" It's definitely a favorite saying in our house. ;)

Little fun (or maybe not fun? hah!) fact...I've never had a mimosa before. But I don't like champagne, so maybe I wouldn't like them?

  5. OMG I saw that video last week on FB and laughed so hard. Too funny. But some people have to much time on their hands that they can do that. Looks like a great weekend. Planning trips is the best!
