New Year's Eve

Ringing in 2013 started out a bit dramatic.  I worked during the day and came home tired.  I tried to nap because when you're 27 and staying up past 11pm, your pregame will consist of a nap and some caffeine after.
We planned to go to a hotel party Michelle's (my maid of honor) sister was hosting and we had been discussing it among our regular group of friends for 3 weeks prior.  Pete booked us a room and we were kind of excited to do something a little different than we had new year's past.  But then all of a sudden it's 5pm and pretty much all of my friends were thinking of not going anymore.  An hour or two of furious texting later, about half of our scheduled group ended up at the hotel.  Our regular new year's eve party group was split up for the first time in like 8 years or something.  We missed some friends, but we still had a crazy good time.

We had some moscato and pizza.  I got the cute cups and party sticks in target clearance!

There were not as many people there as was expected so we got to enjoy the candy bar and the dance floor without it being too stuffy or messy.  They stopped at 1am so we went back to our room and crashed.

Imagine my surprise when Katy & her fiancé Marc came stumbling back in to the room at 8am. ;)
